About the Artist Mark is a multi-disciplined creative who started his artist journey whilst at school and continuing throughout Art College. After experimenting in many different mediums and materials Mark embarked upon a career in Design, working across Branding, Advertising, Textiles and Crafts. Since 1993 photography as played an important factor in his work but it as always taken the back seat or contributing to only part of the overall project or design. Completing his Graphic Design degree and then continuing to lecture in Graphic Design at University level Mark decided to focus his professional practice on Art Photography coming full circle and finally completing his creative journey and concentrating on landscapes and environments. Mark now continues to develop his professional learning with an MA in Photography and various ongoing workshops and forums. About the Work As a collective Marks work intends to draw peoples explorative nature into areas of fictional or factual landscapes. The everyday location and environment becomes a temporary simulation playing and questioning its surroundings, movement, history and future. The cause comes from a personal drive to investigate social and cultural urban space and everyday environments, analog, digital or virtual. Born. Staffordshire UK 1976.
